US v. Mexico; Mexico Winning with the help of Obama and Congress

It seems Obama is giving Mexico $310 Million in accordance to the Merida Initiative (help combat the drug cartels etc), but he will only give $135 Million for our border security/protection.  Why?

Lets compare what the funds will go towards.  Let's start with Mexico since they are getting the bigger sum...it really should be good!
Mexico’s $310 million (On top of the millions already spent/given) will go towards black hawk helicopters, communication equipment, surveillance aircraft, military and law enforcement training.

The US $135 million will go towards: 1,200 National Guard to be divided up between TX, AZ, NM and CA and 22 miles of fence repair.

The most National Guard personnel that will be at the AZ border at one time (for 120 days) will 500 and some change. It will start with a hundred, tier up and max at something like 524…that will sustain for 120 days, then it will start to taper off again.

In “defense” (I can’t believe I am even saying that word in connection to Obama) of Obama; the Merida Initiative was signed by Congress in 2008; HOWEVER, one would think that a President would allocate at least double that to secure and protect our own border.

Simply providing aid to Mexico and Central American countries without amplifying things on our side; won’t do much. Why is Congress so STUPID! This is not just Obama’s doing; this was in fact done while Bush was in office; under a Democratic rule though.

I hear today that Obama is now pushing for $500 million.....lets wait and see what happens.

Puppy Mills are a disgrace to the human race.  They exsist simply for the love of Money.  They are horrible disgusting places where dogs are bred over and over again while being kept in deplorable conditions.  It is the most inhumane treatment of domestic animals imaginable and it is simply unacceptable.

Please help get the word out on this travestry to animals and help us put an end to mills.  This show will be a great stepping stone to get us to that end.  It will also be a wonderful learning opportunity for so many who have no idea this even happens.

This is a great article regarding the debate over Anchor Children. I too was under the impression that the 14th amendment allowed the children of illegal aliens to be US citizens if they are born on US soil....I was proven to be wrong and I couldn't be happier about it.

Abolishing the notion that illegals can have children here will "hopefully", but most probably deter many of those who come here and have babies.

So you come here illegally and then bitch about not getting paid fairly?  Amazing!

Worse than that is Hilda Solis" the Secretary of Labor: She's running an add that "whether documented or undocumented" workers are to be paid according to FLSA.

REALLY! What the hell? 

OK, maybe this is worse than that: Obama wants to use border security as a political tactic to get what he wants.....yeah, I'd say that man is looking out for the little guy.

What do I think about McChrystal's resignation and the appointment of Petreaus? Well, fine.  Do I think he should have resigned; not really, but who's to say I am not in the military so I can't pretend to know what that did in terms of his leadership ability.  Personally, I don't think it did anything but boost it.
Obama now totes Petraeus as qualified and competent and he has "complete confidence" in him.  Seriously? When did that happen.  Seems it wasn't that long ago you felt differently.

I have no faith in this President and I hope come November that Americans will stand up and say WE WILL BE HEARD! Obama is not our KING!

Take away his power.  Get this country back to what it is intended to be.  Where people are free to live and work.  Where people are not forced by the Government to enter into a contract with another private entity, where we are not taxed to the point of poverty, where our borders are secure, where our leader does not bow or apologize to foreign countries or rulers for "his" (stated lightly in reference to Obama) obnoxious country, were our President respects our rule of law and upholds the Constitution.

We do not need a President to "fundamentally change" America, we need a President that will stand strong against our enemies, encourage and allow private enterprise to grow and prosper and ensure that government is as it was intended to be a protector of this country, not a regulator over every inch of our lives.

California Penal Code....

As it pertains to Immigration laws similar to that of Arizona.  I don't make this up. It is as real as you are.

Calif.Penal Code: Immigration on a local level

834b. (a) Every law enforcement agency in California shall fully


cooperate with the United States Immigration and Naturalization

Service regarding any person who is arrested if he or she is

suspected of being present in the United States in violation of

federal immigration laws.

(b) With respect to any such person who is arrested, and suspected

of being present in the United States in violation of federal

immigration laws, every law enforcement agency shall do the

following:

(1) Attempt to verify the legal status of such person as a citizen

of the United States, an alien lawfully admitted as a permanent

resident, an alien lawfully admitted for a temporary period of time

or as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of

immigration laws. The verification process may include, but shall not

be limited to, questioning the person regarding his or her date and

place of birth, and entry into the United States, and demanding

documentation to indicate his or her legal status.

(2) Notify the person of his or her apparent status as an alien

who is present in the United States in violation of federal

immigration laws and inform him or her that, apart from any criminal

justice proceedings, he or she must either obtain legal status or

leave the United States.

Seems to me Mexico needs to sue California as well as Arizona.  What crock of crap.
Mexico is suing Arizona over their immigration law.  How ridiculous is that!  The fact that our own President probably supports it makes it even worse.
 
I know there are other states with similar laws.. Oklahoma for one and now Nebraska just amped up the voltage on restricting illegal aliens.....Not to mention the biggest one of all...our Federal Law.  Maybe Mexico should sue the Government because obviously they do not like our Immigration Laws...or better yet; lets sue THEM.
 

AWESOME NEWS! Judge blocked...

I realize that many people will see this differently, but personnally I believe this is the best thing possible for our people on the gulf. 

"Federal judge in New Orleans, Louisiana, blocks six-month federal moratorium on deepwater drilling in Gulf."

This is very good news! It gets people who are relying on these job's to get back to work; which is ALWAYS a good thing!

The gulf residents have been hurt enough.  The moratorium added insult to injury and this was a very good call by the Federal Judge!
