97% had more than one arrest and an astonishing 26% had over eleven arrests
Each illegal alien in the study averaged 13 offenses and 24% of those offenses were for drug crimes. About 12% were for murder, robbery, assault and sexually related crimes. 21% of offenses were immigration offenses.
Now, look at this information:
According to ICE; at the end of fiscal year 2008, there were 557,762 fugitive alien cases left unsolved.
California's border counties incurred $79 million in emergency care for illegal aliens
Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) estimated the medical cost of treating illegal immigrants in California in 2004 to be $1.5 billion. Today that figure would be much higher.

Secure Communities...good or bad?
Protest of Secure Communities
so this is a pilot program and 19 out of 22 illegals identified were classified as level 1 offenders...also known as Rapists and murderers... People have a problem with this? Oh, no its the fact that family and friends will be caught up in it.. you know, those hard working honest criminals.
So what they are saying is it is ok to deport high level criminals but those who are there for lessor crimes should not be deported....even though they are here illegally. Isn't that discrimination? Isn't that what they are screaming at all the people who want secure borders; that we are racist and discriminating against them.
I suppose this means that its ok if you are illegal and only commit a crime like say a mugging or some such thing. Personnally, if you are illegal and you go through our jails, you go back to your country after serving your time and paying a fine. We shouldn't discriminate against the higher level of criminal.
They are also claiming that this is a racist thing...not sure how a fingerprint does that. Every criminal gets finger printed no matter how minor the crime. That is not racist. Every fingerprint will be sent to ICE; that is not racist.
This arguement of theirs holds no water.

A death at the border
So I am sure most of you have heard about the teenager killed at the border. 1st reports on the event made it sound like this was an innocent child caught in the cross fire. Later reports indicate he was on the "most wanted" list for juveniles....
Mexican police crossed the border, picked something up and aimed rifles at US agents to scare them off....what is the governments response? So far nothing.
Here is the article... well one of many:

"Damn them! Damn them!" sobbed Rosario Hernandez, sister of the dead teenager, at a wake in the family's two-room adobe house on the outskirts of Ciudad Juarez."
Yes, Damn them for throwing rocks at our agents, Damn them for coming across our border and DAMN the government for not stepping up.
"Mexican President Felipe Calderon said Tuesday that his government "will use all resources available to protect the rights of Mexican migrants.""
Protect the rights of MIGRANTS! Mr. Calderon, you are a bloody idiot and who really gives a damn what you say, except that you just said that you will use all resources ... I assume that means military and policia, yes? What will you protect them against exactly? Protect them, shield them with rifles aimed at our Border Agents to ensure safe illegal passage into this country? I suspect Mr. Calderon that you better prepare yourself for a fight.
Calderon needs to get his dictionary out because those who cross into this country illegally are not migrants. To help you, here is a definition:
migrate - To relocate periodically from one region to another, usually according to the seasons; To change one's geographic pattern of habitation; To change habitations across a border; to move from one country or political region to another.
It makes me sick to my stomach to hear this idiot rant and rave about the AZ law when Mexico's laws on immigration are worse than anything the US ever came up with.
Mr. Calderon has announced to the world that he will protect his citizens who illegally come into this country. Sounds to me like an invasion and a call to war.
Americans, stand up and defend your country. This is not a war on foreign lands, this is right here on our soil. Our make believe President will do nothing to stop this so it is up to you and me to do something about it.
Get ready for war because Mr. Calderon just declared it.

The Blantant Truth....Think before you act
The painful truth about the blantant disregard
Please see the link above. As the most intelligent beings (some could argue against it and rightly so) the things we do to our companion animals is quite frankly disgusting.
I know and fully understand that things happen and hard choices have to be made, but there is a major misconception out there that if you drop your dog or cat at a shelter then they will go to a good home. Chances are that your beloved pet will die in 24 to 72 hours.
Over crowding at shelters forces them to “kill” to make room. The inflow of animals is greater than the outflow.
One way to combat this problem – Spay and Neuter your pets!
I hear the macho crap: but I can’t do that to my “Boy!” Wrong, you can and you should. Not only to save his life, but countless others one accidental pregnancy will produce and from that litter one maybe 2 more unplanned pregnancies and so on and so forth. Before you know it your one dog has led to 20 other puppies or kittens… 19 out of 20 who are likely to die without ever knowing a loving home.

With the commercial fishing industry shut down, the oil industry shut down, sport fishing shut down and all of the businesses that support these industries suffering...family pets are being turned in to local animal controls by the dozens. Most of these facilities are high-kill so we know the fate of these poor animals. The parishes in and around New Orleans are yet again feeling the brunt of this latest disaster. Now is the time to consider taking in a southern dog. Unlike when Katrina hit and rescues offered to take in a couple of dogs and were told they had to take in large numbers or none...these shelters will gladly let any reputable, verifiable rescue take one or two dogs. You can contact me and I can put you in contact with the shelters that are starting to receive oil disaster victims.
